WHERE ARE U

Developed by the Regional Emergency Agency of Lombardy (AREU) in collaboration with Beta80 Grup, Where Are U is a mobile application for emergency calls that automatically transmits the precise location of the caller to the public emergency centers of the Unified Emergency Number 112. This allows for the rapid identification of the intervention point, even in cases where the caller is unaware of or unable to provide precise location data.

The app detects the location through GPS and/or data network and sends it to the emergency service to enable them to respond as quickly as possible.

GOALs

• Decrease the response time during an emergency calls
• Collect data about location of the accident
• Provide to the agent of Unified Emergency Number as much information as possible
